New York: In Silence
Book DesignNew York: In Silence is a hand-crafted accordion book that follows my journey of mindlessly walking around the streets of New York from dawn ‘til dusk. Through my unplanned strolls I took occasional pauses, both physically and mentally, in those moments I captured the landscape with a film camera. Later during editing and book-making, I stripped the people away from the scene in a personal attempt to feel more connected to the space. As a result, this offers a new perspective to how we view these streetscapes and a touch on the interaction with light and shadow.
