Draw the Clouds is a website that brings the nostalgic memory of making shapes out of clouds with your finger, a phenomenon called Cloud Pareidolia. Especially during times of lockdown, this site becomes a little getaway as we reminisce the small moments we had outside that we took for granted.
The website displays a picture of a sky with clouds and asks users to draw what object they could see, possible through the P5.js plugin. The drawings are displayed in the gallery view by storing them in a database using Airtable's API. Through the collective drawing exercise, we could examine how different people see different things just from the same cloud picture.
